Job Description
Job Summary Lily of the Desert Nutraceuticals , conveniently located off 35E and Corporate Drive in Lewisville, has immediate openings for pre-weigh technicians in our state-of-the-art production facility. Our pre-weigh techs are responsible for accurately measuring, preparing, and handling raw materials prior to production processes, ensuring materials are correctly weighed and organized, supporting efficient manufacturing operations and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Successful candidates will possess strong attention to detail, experience with materials handling, and familiarity with manufacturing environments to contribute effectively to our production workflow. Work hours are normally 6:00am - 4:30pm with OT available. Responsibilities Accurately weigh raw materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring adherence to specified quantities and quality standards. Prepare and organize materials for subsequent processing or packaging stages, maintaining proper documentation. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the facility. Maintain compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards to ensure product integrity and safety. Support operations by providing pre-measured materials for production lines. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory control. Collaborate with production teams to coordinate material availability and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or materials handling is preferred. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. Knowledge of CGMP standards applicable in food, beverage or pharmaceutical production. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and safety protocols.
