• Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup:

• Prepare and set up machines for production by installing and adjusting tools, dies, and other fixtures. Ensure machines are calibrated correctly for specified operations.

• Operation:

• Operate cutting, punching, and press machines to process metal and plastic components according to production specifications and work orders. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Material Handling:

• Load and unload materials and workpieces into machines. Handle materials safely and efficiently to maintain production flow.

• Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and troubleshoot defects or production issues.

• Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools. Report any malfunctions or need for repairs to supervisors promptly.

• Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and timely production records, including counts and inspection reports. Ensure all documentation complies with company standards.

• Qualifications:

• Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with cutting, punching, and press machines, is preferred.

• Technical Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders. Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

• Problem Solving:

• Strong ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions on the production line.

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to [weight limit]. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
