Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner. Work with a partner in most cases. Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized. May work in hot environment (epoxy). Cleans and inspects tubing prior to stator injection process. Operates surface blasting equipment and blast tubing per specifications. Operates equipment to apply primer and glue to stator tubing assemblies. Operates injection equipment and injects rubber into stator tubing assemblies. Cures stator assemblies utilizing high temperature tanks. Follows Company's Compliance requirements. Maintains and improves the quality management system. Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
Regardless of other duties, the Assembly operator has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Training:
High school or as deemed sufficient by management
Technical Requirements:
ability to read and interpret routine instructions; use of general hand tools and measuring equipment; basic computer skills; ability to operate moving equipment
Experience:
