Saw Operator job profile. Saw operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial saw, cutting material to order spec. verifying and maintaining traceability of material. Saw Operator duties and responsibilities

• Verify materiel (length, HT#, LT#, ETC. per order)
• Measure parts using tape measure.
• Cut materiel to order spec.
• Report shortages
• Report quality deficiencies
• Tag and maintain material traceability.
• Inspect machinery and identify damages.
• Determine the need for repairs.
• Maintain work area organized and free of hazards.
• Produce activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and guidelines.
• Assist in keeping a safe environment. Saw Operator requirements and qualifications
• 2 year of experience as saw operator or similar role.
• Attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of industrial equipment
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent coordination
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid certification to operate forklifts is a plus.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
