McKinney, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Dimensional inspection Attention to detail Manual handling Materials handling Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to set up, operate, and maintain a 6kW fiber laser cutting machine in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating laser or plasma cutting tables, a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, and the ability to produce quality parts efficiently and safely. Experience with CypCut software is preferred. Job Duties Set up and operate a 6kW fiber laser cutting machine to produce parts according to specifications and production schedules. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production documentation. Perform machine setup, calibration, and parameter adjustments to ensure optimal cutting performance. Monitor cutting operations and inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy. Conduct routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on laser equipment. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Ensure proper material handling and inventory control of raw materials and finished products. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous experience operating a laser cutting machine or plasma cutting table. Experience with CypCut software a plus. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
