We are hiring a Final Assembly Operator to complete the final assembly of electricity transformers. You will work across various stations to install components, anchor core assemblies, and ensure units meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assembly:
Attach components (leads, bushings, switches) to transformer tanks and secure core/coil assemblies.
Quality & Testing:
Run leak, fluid, and temperature checks; rework nonconforming parts.
Equipment:
Safely use hand tools, vacuum systems, and overhead cranes.
Operations:
Follow written instructions (BOMs, schedules) and meet daily production targets.
Working hours:
Various Shifts Available Skills:
Experience:
Relevant experience preferred; basic math and reading skills required. No high school diploma required.
Physical:
Lift up to 40 lbs; stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
Environment:
Ability to work in a hot, loud environment wearing full PPE (steel toes, metatarsal guards, safety glasses, earplugs, and sleeves).
