Machine Operator

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for operating their assigned machinery. They ensure their machine runs smoothly, works at capacity without issue and is appropriately maintained. This role is critical to our organization because A-Lert's goal is to provide fabricated structures for families, congregations, and businesses, in the most efficient manner while maintaining a safe work environment. The role of the machine operator is crucial to the overall manufacturing process of our products. Job Responsabilities In this role, you are responsible for: Monitoring the machinery and making adjustments to ensure the machine is producing quality work. Performing minor maintenance and repairs when needed. Performing routine maintenance checks. Following strict safety regulations and guidelines. Inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications. Working with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order. Maintain a clean work area. Comply with the Company's quality management system requirements. Willingness to cross-train. Advocate for continuous improvement projects. Performs other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn Ability to follow instructions Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans Basic computer and math skills High school diploma or equivalent required Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time. Ability to read, organize, and maintain production paperwork Ability to read a tape measure
