• We are hiring a Metal Production Laborer to join our team! You will operate machinery and equipment, measure twice cut-once, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. The shop team shares responsibilities. Please read job details carefully. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM through 5:00 PM

Large products at high volume. Heavy lifting is involved. Up to 60lbs.

Essential Functions:

Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment Anticipate any mechanical failures Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion Assemble finished stock products, prepare for shipping Perform routine preventative maintenance Adhere to safety policies and procedures Operates various production machinery, measuring tape, tape guns, knifes/blades, and other machines as required Analyze order sheets based on client orders and pull the appropriate product for each order Quality control, verify that the material is not damaged/scratched and all pieces are in order according to the drawing/purchase order. Unload, load Delivery and off-site pick-ups Lift, push, move up to 60lbs. (metal rolls)

Qualifications:

Previous experience in production, cosntruction manufacturing or related warehousing 1 year. Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment Ability to handle physical workload 50lbs+ Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification strongly preferred. Proficient Tape measuring Availability to work overtime hours, Saturdays and holidays preferred

Mathematical:

Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide 10s and 100s. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stooping, bending, leaning, reaching.
