Temp RPM Staffing in Sherman is seeking an assistant Drape Operator. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring equipment used in the production of custom extruded vinyl film products, including safety drapes, privacy screens, and industrial curtains. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment including extruders, heat-sealing machines, and perforation equipment Produce vinyl film products according to company specifications and production schedules Perform quality checks to ensure products meet appearance, measurement, opacity, and flame-retardant standards Load raw materials such as vinyl resin and production additives into machinery Wind, package, and prepare finished vinyl rolls for distribution Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report maintenance concerns as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures Accurately complete production and quality documentation
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required Please call us at 903-415-6520 if you are interested!
