THE ROLE
The Machine Operator is a skilled professional who focuses on the use of heavy machinery to complete the manufacturing process of turning raw materials into nonwoven products.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operate all equipment efficiently and safely Produce exceptional product that meets or exceeds specifications Set up manufacturing equipment for daily production schedule Propose improvements to the process or machines as needed Understand the operating procedures for equipment Maintain equipment and machinery to maximize production and minimize downtime Training and overseeing other employees on machines Reporting safety hazards on the line or facility Document and record production and quality information as necessary

ABILITIES 2
Years previous experience in a manufacturing facility Strong mechanical aptitude Great communication skill and able to work and train all other positions on the line Excellent problemsolving skills to troubleshoot potential issues Ability to lead a team and train other employees, as needed Resourcefulness in learning new processes and procedures and able to implement and train others Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks Ability to identify issues or problems in operations Proactive in preventing production or mechanical downtime occurrences Proven leadership ability Good organizational skills Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods on concrete surfaces. Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties. Ability to work in extremely hot and cold temperature Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
