Job Title:
Tetra Top Machine Operator Pay:
$20.59/hr
Job Type:
Full-Time, M-F 9p-5:30a plus weekends as needed Job Summary Local production company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tetra Top Machine Operator to join our production team. This position plays a critical role in operating and maintaining high-speed automated filling and packaging equipment used for food products. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and food safety.
Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Set up, operate, and monitor automated Tetra Top filling and packaging equipment to ensure efficient production.
Quality Control:
Perform routine checks on product weight, fill levels, seal integrity, and date/label accuracy to ensure all specifications are met.
Material Handling:
Load and monitor packaging materials such as cartons, caps, and film to maintain continuous production flow.
Sanitation & Compliance:
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues; escalate complex equipment problems to maintenance or supervisory staff.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records, including logs, downtime tracking, and waste reporting. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience operating automated packaging or food/beverage manufacturing equipment preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills a plus Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing setting Temperature-controlled environment with moderate to high noise levels Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed Great Benefits!
