Role:
Operate GPS-equipped track hoe for utility excavation and site grading. Follow plans, maintain equipment, and keep the site safe.
Duties:
Run excavator for trenching, bedding, backfill on sewer, water, storm projects. Set and hold grades to plan specifications. Perform pre/post-shift machine checks and basic maintenance. Keep work area clean and compliant with OSHA rules. Coordinate with foreman, crew, and inspectors; report progress/issues.
Requirements:
2+ years operating track hoe/excavator. Familiar with GPS machine guidance. Ability to read construction plans and follow stakes. Lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver's license. Reliable, punctual, safety-first. Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
