Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Gate Operator Technician to join our growing team and help keep critical access systems running smoothly across residential, commercial, and high-security sites.

What You'll Do:

Diagnose and repair gate operator systems on-site Run independent service calls and complete detailed job documentation Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently—no repeat visits Support installations and coordinate with fencing crews when needed Communicate professionally with customers Help ensure smooth project execution and minimize downtime

What You Bring:

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic low-voltage wiring knowledge Experience using hand and power tools Ability to manage time and work independently Customer-facing communication skills

Preferred Experience:

2+ years in a related field (garage doors, HVAC, construction, maintenance, or service technician roles) Proven experience diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues in the field Comfortable working independently in a service-based role
