Full Job Description Position Summary:
Join our production team as a Mixing Technician. You'll be responsible for accurately preparing and mixing raw materials and formulas to produce high-quality dietary supplement products in a GMP-compliant facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients to batch recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Operate and monitor mixing equipment (e.g., mixers, blenders, pumps) safely and efficiently. Read and follow batch records, labels, and production paperwork accurately. Perform in-process checks (weights, volumes, temperatures, timings) and record data. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area; perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies. Report deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors. Assist with inventory checks and receiving of raw materials as needed. Support quality control checks and cooperate with audits/inspections.
Qualifications :
Bilingual (English - Spanish) Strong basic math skills (able to perform weights, volumes, percentages, unit conversions). Attention to detail, and reliability. Preferably 1+ years experience in mixing/production, food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical manufacturing, but willing to train the right candidate. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a production environment (temperature/noise variations). Comfortable following SOPs and recording accurate data.
Preferred :
Familiarity with GMP and batch record practices. Experience operating industrial mixers/blenders and basic mechanical aptitude.
