In this role, you will operate and monitor encapsulation machinery, ensuring efficient production while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Duties Set up, operate, and troubleshoot encapsulation machines to ensure smooth production flow. Perform routine inspections of equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly. Maintain a cleanroom environment by following sanitation and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process, verifying capsule weight, fill accuracy, and packaging integrity. Handle materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment for materials handling and storage. Follow CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Assist with packaging operations, including labeling, sealing, and preparing finished products for shipment. Document production data accurately, including batch records, machine logs, and quality reports. Support sanitation efforts by cleaning machinery and work areas regularly to uphold cleanliness standards. Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet daily production goals. Skills Mechanical knowledge of encapsulation machinery and general machining skills. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse handling equipment safely. Strong understanding of quality control procedures within a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical setting. Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and sanitation procedures essential for maintaining product integrity. Knowledge of CGMP regulations and FDA compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing environments. Basic math skills for measurements, weight checks, and data recording accuracy. Ability to interpret technical instructions, assembly diagrams, and operational manuals effectively. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; a proactive attitude is essential for success in this role.
