Temporary Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator (Equipment Operator I-A1/B1) to join our client's team in Salt Lake City. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automated assembly machines, ensuring high-quality assembly of medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor simple automated assembly equipment Keep work area and equipment clean and organized Safely start equipment from power-off state and perform set-ups as needed Interpret, troubleshoot, and resolve machine faults Read and interpret equipment gauges and dials Complete production records and necessary documentation with accuracy Inspect products, weigh, count, package, and label finished goods Demonstrate flexibility in learning and operating multiple machines Follow all company safety protocols and quality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or satisfactory completion of an Employment Assessment Must be at least 18 years of age Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred Ability to read and understand written procedures and documentation
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand throughout the entire shift Capable of performing visual inspections (with or without magnification tools) Repetitively move and lift objects up to 20 lbs Comfortable working in a clean room environment May use solvents, glue, or solder as needed
