Job Description

About the Role Join Granules Consumer Health (GCH), a leading OTC manufacturing division, as a Packaging Mechanic . You'll be responsible for setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth operation of bottle packaging lines in a regulated manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform setup, changeovers, and maintenance of packaging line equipment Troubleshoot mechanical & basic electrical issues and execute repairs Conduct preventive maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyors & compressors Operate and maintain multiple machines simultaneously Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards Inspect product quality and complete batch records & documentation Train and guide operators on machine handling and safety Assist with equipment installation and plant maintenance Equipment You'll Work On Bottle unscrambler, tablet counter, slat filler, capper, induction sealer, labeler, bander, shrink tunnel, cartoner, case packer, QR printers, conveyors & more. Must-Have Requirements ✔ 2+ years experience in bottle packaging line maintenance (setup, troubleshooting, repairs) ✔ 2+ years experience in pharma / nutraceutical / food manufacturing ✔ Strong mechanical skills with ability to disassemble & repair equipment ✔ Knowledge of cGMP & safety standards Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree / Technical Diploma (Mechanical or related) Experience with PLC systems (basic) Familiarity with CMMS, multimeters, calipers, micrometers Key Skills Mechanical troubleshooting Equipment setup & changeover Preventive maintenance Blueprint & schematic reading Team collaboration
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
