Job Description
Cardwell Printing has been in business since 1977 and is seeking a full time digital print operator. Experienced preferred but will consider training the right candidate. We are a full service printer. We offer offset print, digital print, wide format, direct mail, promotional items, embroidery and screen print services. We are looking for a candidate to assist in our Digital print production.. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, take great pride in the work they produce, and have some experience in digital/offset or commercial printing. Duties will include operating equipment, maintaining equipment, ensuring inventory is kept on hand and keeping a clean work area. Knowledge of graphic programs is a plus. Must be a team player with a good attitude, good attendance and a strong work ethic. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills are a must. Must possess math skills including calculation of decimals/fractions and must be able to use a ruler and calculator. -Candidate must understand general machine mechanics with demonstrable skills and a strong mechanical aptitude: ability to work on and troubleshoot machinery issues. -Validate stock accuracy and quality consistency within a production run. In this role you will be required to lift up to 50lbs and stand on your feet for extended periods of time. Salary is commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience. Plenty of room to grow.
