Prebatching Technician

In immediate need of a Prebatching Technician in the Chester, VT area . This is a full time second shift position starting at $19.50/hour .

Responsibilities:

Prepare and verify equipment, tools and mixing materials are ready for use at the start of each shift according to established procedures and batch schedule Prepare products based on given specifications, including measuring and mixing ingredients, converting units of measure and keeping accurate records Ability to work without direct supervision and be self-motivated Operate mixing equipment in the preparation of all products Perform ongoing quality checks to be sure all ingredients and products are being mixed to specification Complete and submit required documentation for department Ensure a neat/clean/safe work area to prevent injury or product contamination. Participate in maintaining a clean work environment through the remainder of the facility as needed Cross train in and perform the duties of all Batching lines and Sanitation Technician as needed Collaborate, communicate and meet with managers and other appropriate personnel to accomplish Company goals Adhere to and follow all Company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Basic mechanical skills Ability to lift up to 65 pounds from a bending, standing, or stooping position safely and comfortably Ability to bend, lift, climb, twist, reach, lean over, pull, push, stoop and stand on concrete floor on a regular basis and for long periods of time

Hours:

Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-3:00am J28501

From $19.50 per hour
