Full-time; occasional OT as needed around production runs Reports to: Processing Manager / COO Role Summary Run day-to-day filling of vape cartridges and portioning/pack-out of concentrates (e.g., live resin, rosin, badder, shatter, diamonds/sauce) with a focus on accuracy, throughput, and GMP-style cleanliness. As a Working Lead, coordinate the shift, train techs, maintain SOP discipline, and keep quality/compliance tight (batch records, labels, CCRS/Cultivera entries). What You'll DoProduction & Quality Set up, operate, and break down semi-automatic filling equipment (heated syringe/pump/peristaltic systems) for 0.5 mL & 1.0 mL carts and disposables per SOP. Portion, weigh, and package concentrate SKUs to tight tolerances; manage viscosity, temperature, and terpene handling to minimize aeration and oxidation. Perform in-process checks:
fill weight/volume, headspace, torque checks, leak/bubble checks, cosmetic standards. Execute cleaning, sanitation, and line-clearance procedures; complete batch records, cleaning logs, and yield reconciliations. Print/verify labels (SKU, lot, potency, warnings) and ensure packaging compliance by market (WA). Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate batch/lot traceability and inventory movements in seed-to-sale systems (e.g., CCRS via Cultivera), including waste and rework. Pull and send out QA samples as needed; support COA matching and release status controls. Follow SOPs Support internal audits and state inspections. Equipment, Safety & 5S Calibrate and care for scales, thermometers, torque gauges; submit maintenance tickets and perform basic PMs. Safely handle hot oil (40-80 °C typical), pressurized gases, and food-grade solvents (e.g., ethanol); wear required PPE. Maintain 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain) and cleanroom behaviors; keep a tidy, audit-ready workcell. Team Leadership (Lead level) Plan daily runs, and balance lines to hit targets; coordinate with Inventory, Packaging, and COO. Monitor first-pass yield, scrap, and rework; drive continuous improvement. Push throughput and always be proactive in getting things done. Capable of autonomy and high level problem solving Communicate shift handoffs, shortages, and issues; escalate equipment or quality concerns promptly. What Success Looks Like (KPIs) Fill accuracy: ±2.0% by mass or better, documented via in-process checks. First-pass yield:
≥99.5% (no rework/leakers). Throughput:
