Job Description
Hiring Machine Operators! Start asap! Job Description We are a manufacturer of structural parts for leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the large business and regional jet markets. Our expertise covers multiple segments of an aircraft including engine pylons, struts, wing boxes, wings, wheel wells, and interiors. Our success stems from utilizing proprietary manufacturing techniques to produce high-quality complex parts through cost-effective production. With our extensive capabilities and strong customer relationships, we maintain substantial content on the aviation industry's most popular aircraft. Responsibilities Operate numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate aerospace parts per engineering specifications. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and inform lead person of discrepancies. Perform work instructions excluding setup procedures. Thoroughly inspect first part run. Meet job standard times with minimal supervision. Recognize production problems and inform supervisor. Increase understanding of basic machine language, including M-codes and G-codes. Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using standard measuring tools. Read and interpret manufacturing drawings. Perform miscellaneous duties in the machine shop as directed when supervisor is unavailable for training. Follow all safety guidelines established by the company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Demonstrate a good attitude toward work and arrive on time for start of shift. Properly use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, indicators, etc.). Follow instructions and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Communicate well verbally and in writing. Mechanically inclined with good manual dexterity. Why Work Here? DAY:
M-TH, 6:00am- 4:30pm; M-TH, 4:30am
- 3:00pm;
NIGHT:
M-TH, 4:30pm- 3:00am; M-TH, 6:00pm
- 4:30am;
WEEKEND:
Fri/Sat/Sun, 4:30am- 5:00pm; Fri/Sat/Sun, 5:00pm
- 4:30am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.75
- $27.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
