$21.00/hrJob SummaryThe PalletizerIplaysa vital role in our operations by ensuring that egg cartons are efficiently packed into boxes or pallets, adhering to customer specifications for safe transportation. This position is key tomaintaininghigh standardsof order and quality in the packaging and distribution process, directly supporting the organization's goals. Working under general supervision, your performance will be evaluated through inspections and the results of your work, contributing to the overall success of our packaging operations.

Essential Job FunctionsEnsure pallets are in good condition before use.

Properly stack cases and place them on skids.

Stack boxes onto pallets efficiently and safely.

Pull boxes off conveyor belts at a fast pace.

Confirmall cases are labeled correctly; attach labels if missing.

Correctly label boxes and pallets.

Stack cases straight and keep orders organized.

Place damaged cases in designatedareafor rework.

Comply withUSDA regulations and safety programs.

Document pallet completion according to the production plan.

Wrap pallets per customer requirements.

Resolveimmediatelycorrectableissues.

Operate equipment safely, such as tape machines and pallet jacks.

Report mechanical problems to the supervisor.

Follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions.

Keepworkarea clean and organized.

Assistin effective communication with plant supervision and staff.

Other duties as assigned.

Required QualificationsHigh SchoolDiploma,GED, or equivalent experience0-2 years of general work experienceAbility to use a computerReading and comprehension skillsMust have the physical capability tolift upto 50lbsand perform tasks that involve reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting overhead.

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces.

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced,environmentDependability andstrong communicationskillsAbility to work overtime, weekends and holiday hours asrequiredbased on production demandPreferred QualificationsExperience in a similar role or industryAdditionalcertifications related to packaging orlogisticsFamiliarity with warehouse operations and safety protocolsPrior egg grading machine operator experienceBilingual in EnglishandSpanishWork EnvironmentThe Palletizer role is based in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment where you willbe responsible forefficiently stacking and labeling egg cartons on pallets. This physically demanding position requires standing and walking on various surfaces,lifting upto 50lbs, and performing tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching. You will need to adapt to temperature fluctuations and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Safety is paramount, and you mustcomply withall regulations while operating equipment like tape machines and pallet jacks. Effective communication with plant staff is essential for reporting issues andmaintainingan organized workspace.
