Job Title:

Machine Operator Assistant Job Description Join our team as a Machine Operator Assistant working on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays. In this role, you will support the operations of our state-of-the-art packaging equipment. We are looking for motivated individuals who are committed to safety, punctuality, and continuous learning. Responsibilities Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment. Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures. Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center. Read and follow order specification documents. Consistently work to develop or enhance skill set. Work effectively with co-workers and establish a team approach to achieve company goals. Follow all company rules and policies. Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations. Essential Skills Ability to read and write English. Mechanically inclined and able to learn new skills within a standard timeline. Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform mentally and physically at a high pace with a sense of urgency. Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work overtime. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Authorized to work in the U.S. Pass drug screen and physical abilities test. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a very large facility that can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You will have exposure to a variety of machines, including Flexograph, Flexo Folder, and Gluer, and work alongside a smaller crew on weekends and swing shifts.
