Summer Production Help

Appvion is hiring temporary summer production team members to support our operations from mid-May through the end of August . These positions help cover for regular employees on vacation and assist with tasks that do not require specialized skills. Compensation Competitive pay at $20 per hour . Earn double time for any hours worked on Sundays. Work Schedule 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule (6AM - 6PM and 6PM - 6AM) on a two-week rotation, including weekends. Availability for the entire summer is required, with limited time off granted only for critical events that are approved by a manager. What You'll Do Work safely and follow all safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, glasses and hearing protection. Operate various manufacturing equipment (i.e., rewinders, coaters, powered industrial vehicles) Follow standard operating procedures and instructions. Takes:

To be eligible for summer employment, you must meet the following requirements: Be enrolled as a full-time college student for the upcoming fall semester (or a high school senior enrolled to attend college in the fall). Be physically capable of performing production tasks, including bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching overhead, and prolonged standing/walking. Be comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned production environment. Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen & background check.
