Thermoforming Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Thermoforming Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Thermoforming Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining thermoforming machines to produce plastic components according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating thermoforming equipment, understanding of plastic materials, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate thermoforming machines to produce plastic parts. Adjust machine settings to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to optimize production efficiency. Inspect finished products for quality and consistency. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as they arise. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate effectively. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Document production and quality data as required. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus. Proven experience as a Thermoforming Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of thermoforming processes, materials, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with specific brands/models of thermoforming machines. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Working Conditions:

This position typically works in a manufacturing environment. May involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and exposure to noise and chemicals.

$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
