Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Ice Production, Packaging, and Delivery Specialist! In this vital role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ice, efficiently packaging it to meet safety standards, and delivering it promptly to our valued customers. Your dedication will help us provide fresh, clean ice for a variety of industries and events, making a tangible difference every day. Duties Operate ice production equipment to generate consistent, high-quality ice according to safety and quality standards Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of all production and packaging areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols Package ice securely using appropriate materials to prevent contamination and spoilage, maintaining food safety standards Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery, demonstrating mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues promptly Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport ice products within the facility Prepare accurate documentation for production logs, sanitation records, and delivery schedules Deliver ice efficiently to designated locations while adhering to safety regulations and delivery timelines Skills Strong understanding of food industry safety standards including HACCP and CGMP practices Experience in manufacturing or food processing environments with a focus on sanitation and quality control Mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining production equipment Knowledge of packaging techniques suitable for food products to ensure freshness and safety Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred Excellent attention to detail in food production and sanitation procedures Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and delivery personnel Join us in delivering essential products with energy, precision, and a commitment to food safety!
