Machine Operator

Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description As a Mixing/Blending Operator, you will be responsible for operating and adjusting mixing machines, blending machines, and steam kettles. You will measure or weigh ingredients, observe products, and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, or conveyor speeds as needed. Additionally, you will check the quality of raw materials to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and perform maintenance or cleaning to ensure that equipment meets health and safety regulations. Ensuring product quality and identifying any damaged or expired goods will also be part of your duties. Responsibilities Operate and adjust mixing machines, blending machines, and steam kettles. Measure or weigh ingredients accurately. Observe products and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, or conveyor speeds. Check the quality of raw materials to meet standards and specifications. Ensure equipment meets health and safety regulations and perform necessary maintenance or cleaning. Check products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods. Essential Skills Experience in machine operating, setup, and troubleshooting. At least 6 months in a machine operating role. Proficient in using a tape measure and reading blueprints. Experience with packaging machines and quality inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic math skills. Mechanical aptitude. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
