6:30am-3pm (Sat-Sun); 5:30am-2:00pm (Sat-Wed) Join a reputable machine shop with real growth potential! We're looking for an experienced CNC Operator with metal bending skills to join our weekend team. CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or routers) to produce parts according to specifications.
- Perform metal cutting, bending, and forming operations using CNC and manual equipment (press brakes, shears, etc.).
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Load raw materials and unload finished products from CNC equipment.
- Perform deburring, sanding, and finishing of machined parts.
- Operate secondary equipment such as tumbling machines to clean and finish parts.
- Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify quality and tolerances.
- Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
CNC Machine Operator Requirements:
- Proven experience operating CNC machines and metal fabrication equipment.
- Experience with metal bending, cutting, and forming processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (preferred).
- Strong math and measurement skills.
- Experience using air-powered and precision hand tools.
- High attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to stand on feet for up to 10 hours per day.
- Lifting independently 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to push, pull, kneel, bend, twist and stoop.
- Ability to walk regularly.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, verbally and written.
