Job Summary/Overview This Position operates the saw to create customized parts within tolerance of prints. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reviews and organizes work orders.
Set up measurements on the saw.
Supplies the bar feeder with appropriate material.
Runs and operates the saw.
Deburrs finished parts using deburring wheel or other hand tools if necessary.
Perform quality checks and measure finished parts using hand measurement tools, (micrometers, calipers, plug gauges & profilometers) to determine if they are within tolerance.
Logs date and other details of job on work order.
Communicate material needs to the lead and production planners.
Performs basic PM's and 5S in area as required. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities A team player with excellent communication skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and solid blueprint reading skills.
Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Required Qualifications Experience in manufacturing preferred.
Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely. Compensation $19+ per hour based on experience. What are the benefits of working at Dorner? Climate controlled facility
