Job Description
Our client, manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Saw Operator to join their team. As a Saw Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the machining and fabrication teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
1st Shift What's the Job? Operate industrial saws, including band saws and circular saws, to cut raw materials to specified measurements. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job specifications to determine cutting requirements. Adjust saw settings, blade speeds, and material feeds to ensure precision and minimize waste. Inspect and measure cut materials using calipers and tape measures to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications. Assist in material handling, loading/unloading raw stock, and staging cut materials for production. What's Needed? 1-2 years of experience with CNC and industrial saws or automated cutting systems in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with materials commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., aluminum, stainless steel, low carbon steel) and optimal cutting techniques. Basic math skills to take precise measurements and make calculations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job orders accurately.
