Packaging Support Technician-Weekend Shift

Job Description Hours:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm with the option of overtime hours when needed. Weekend premium offered! •Our plant uses peanut and shellfish products.

Duties:

Will be trained on-site including basic food safety concepts The Packaging Technicians are responsible for packaging product and assisting the Packaging Line Lead with duties that ensures accuracy and product safety Follow work instructions given by the Line Lead Pack products into boxes and palletize Inspect date and seal of the packaging Inspect product within the bag Label boxes

Requirements:

Prior factory experience is a plus Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety guidelines Promote general housekeeping/keep work area a safe and clean environment Positive attitude Self-Starter Attention to detail Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Good attendance Forklift operation is a plus, but not required Must be able to communicate with management and co-workers effectively and positively Appropriate Food and Human Safety PPE required

Work Conditions:

The job consists of standing and walking around the work area. It also consists of bending over, lifting and hands out in front of you. You will occasionally use steps and ladders. Full use of hearing and sight is required for this area due to the safety of our employees. Certain areas of the production building will be dusty.

From $18.00 per hour
