Job Title:
Entry Level Assembly Job Description This role focuses on assembling small electronic components for a variety of manufactured units in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. You will follow computer-based work orders, use hand and power tools, and help ensure that each product meets quality and performance standards. Responsibilities Assemble small electronic parts and components according to detailed work orders and production specifications. Read and follow computer-based work orders, instructions, and diagrams to complete assigned tasks accurately. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to assemble, fasten, and adjust components. Operate basic assembly and production machinery as needed to support manufacturing processes. Package finished products and components according to company standards and customer requirements. Inspect parts and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and defects, and report any issues promptly. Follow all standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality control processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and storage of tools and materials. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and timelines. Use basic computer skills to log work, review work orders, and document completed tasks as required. Essential Skills At least 6 months of manufacturing experience in a production or assembly environment. At least 6 months of experience using hand tools in a work or closely related setting. At least 6 months of basic computer skills, including the ability to read work orders and input basic information. Ability to read and understand written instructions and work orders with strong reading comprehension. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and accurately for assembly tasks. High school diploma or GED. Ability to follow detailed instructions, procedures, and quality standards consistently. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for working with small components. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with small electronics assembly or similar precision assembly work. Familiarity with basic machine operation in a manufacturing or production setting. Experience with packaging finished goods in a manufacturing environment. Comfort using computer-based systems to access work orders and record production information. Ability to work effectively on a set shift schedule and meet production targets. Willingness to complete and pass required assessments prior to starting. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility with a well-organized and professional assembly department. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of La Crosse, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
