Machine Operator ll, Sections, 2nd Shift

Description:

Kondex Corporation is looking for Machine Operators to join the Sections department. Current openings on 2nd shift $3.00 per hour shift premium Current 2nd shift hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Training will likely occur on 1st shift, Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Learn how to set-up and operate machines in the Sickle Sections area such as blanking presses, hydraulic presses, heat treat equipment and grinding machines. Read prints and travelers. Follow established machine settings and parameters. Perform lock-out tag-out on equipment. Perform basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices. Work in computer system to track and close orders. Perform 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment. May assist in training full time, part time, or temporary associates in the department. Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions. Prior blueprint reading experience is preferred. Mechanical aptitude. Prior machine operation experience.
