Machine Operator 2nd Shift - Experience Required

Dec USA is seeking a Night Machine Operator in Mauston, Wisconsin! The Machine Operator reports to the Night Supervisor. This role will set up٫ maintain and operate machinery, mainly the press brake. Blueprint reading is required to determine the measurements of each product and operate the machine to manipulate materials into the shape according to specifications, ensuring correct size and shape. Previous machine operation is required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Read blueprints from designers and engineers Program and set up the machine Material handling to load and unload Produce correct parts per specifications Inspect and measure final product to ensure uniformity and accuracy Restock materials Perform routine maintenance on the machine Maintain a clean and safe work environment Other shop work as needed or assigned Performs other duties as apparent or assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

(Education, Experience, Skills, etc.): Minimum 2 years of press brake experience required CNC flat laser experience helpful CNC press forming experience Reading blueprints Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis Analytical skills Attention to detail Written and verbal communication skills Ability to use caliper, micrometer, height gage, tape measure and other measuring devices
