You MUST have previous batchmaking or blending experience to be considered for this position. •Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Batchmaker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and blending raw materials to produce consistent batches of products in accordance with established specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials handling, and laboratory procedures to ensure efficient production flow. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Accurately measure, weigh, and combine raw materials following batch formulas and production schedules Operate machinery related to batching, mixing, and packaging processes while adhering to safety protocols Maintain proper documentation of batch records, including ingredient quantities and process parameters Conduct laboratory sampling and testing to verify product quality during various stages of production Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) standards throughout all operations Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment for materials handling, storage, and movement within the facility Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction Assist in cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of batching equipment to uphold hygiene standards Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely receipt of raw materials and proper storage Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members Experience Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred, especially within the food, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries Laboratory experience is advantageous for conducting quality testing and sampling procedures Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste minimization Experience operating forklifts and handling materials in a warehouse setting is desirable Knowledge of CGMP regulations relevant to manufacturing environments Background in machining or packaging processes is beneficial for understanding equipment operations Strong understanding of materials handling techniques within a manufacturing context Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement is essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
