Under the direction of the Solid Dose Supervisor and Lead, the Solid Dose Utility position will be responsible for inspecting and polishing machine tooling. This position will function as a secondary machine operator during machine changeovers. This position will also assist in the Fit for Use processes to ensure granulations meet optimal run ability characteristics.
Shift First Shift:
5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, or as job responsibilities require Essential Functions Assist operators in daily machine operations such as troubleshooting Weigh buckets and/or barrels of tablets, capsules, softgels Perform quality checks on tablets and/or capsules Create labels Wrap pallets of finished product and move them to the warehouse Co-mill product Assist operators during machine changeovers, including washing of machines and machine parts, to meet established standards of quality and efficiency Assist in the softgel area by filling trays, conducting inspections, and cleaning equipment Inspect, polish and measure tooling and record data in tooling software program Operate the capsule Checkweigher Perform daily verification of scale accuracy Enter data in excel files Perform job duties in a manner that meets company Quality and Safety standards Pay $19.07 to 20.98 / Hour Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience 0-1 year of experience Experience working in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred Experience working with powders and high speed manufacturing equipment preferred Specialized Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of basic math Skills in troubleshooting Benefits Package Standard Process is proud to be a top workplace.
