Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sawmill Laborer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the wood processing operation, assisting with the preparation, handling, and quality control of lumber products. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help ensure efficient production and a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in woodworking, machinery operation, and warehouse management while contributing to high-quality millwork products. Duties Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials.. Operate equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred) to transport materials within the millyard safely and efficiently. Support machinery setup and maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Follow detailed instructions for wood processing operations, including stacking, sorting, and preparing materials for further machining or shipping. Experience Previous warehouse experience or manufacturing background preferred, Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is beneficial; certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately measure. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment while maintaining safety standards and teamwork.
