QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Packaging Operator at a company in Plymouth, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today!Packaging Operator Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring block-forming towers, HMI's, metal detectors, and packaging equipment
- Loading packaging materials; adjusting equipment to ensure proper block size, weight, and labeling
- Boxing, palletizing, labeling and moving finished product to staging or shipping areas
- Entering and closing work orders; documenting production, lot numbers, and weights accurately
- Performing quality checks and immediately reporting food safety or quality concerns
- Conducting equipment setup, calibration, minor maintenance, and routine sanitation of packaging equipment and work areas
- Recording cooler temperatures and reporting deviations as needed
- Training team members on packaging procedures and safety standards
- Assisting with shipping or other production as needed
- Operating forklifts Requirements for
Packaging Operator:
- Forklift certification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic math, computer, and documentation skills
- Ability to walk/stand for 8-12 hours
- Regularly lifting 40-50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and ability to read work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environments
- Ability to work in warm/cool environments (55
