WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING

Wausau Supply Company is seeking a Digital Print Machine Operator in our Waudena Division. This position will allow you the opportunity to further build your skill set with a variety of design projects, a friendly relaxed environment, and the flexibility to contribute new ideas. Duties to include (but not limited to): Must have the ability to use computer interfaces, set up and change equipment, track orders, and maintain high quality standards while keeping attention to detail.

Must be able to interact and communicate with internal employees at all levels, in addition to working independently.

Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications and external defects.

Must be able to meet deadlines.

Maintain safe conditions and priorities.

Log machine operations and parameter checks.

Must keep work area neat and orderly.

Perform PM duties daily.

Quality minded ensuring the product lives up to the reputation that Wausau Supply has established.

Ability to communicate effectively, define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions with all levels of the organization and team.

Being observant, able to identify issues, stop and correct the issue.

Ability to read paperwork, interpret instruction and exercise good judgment.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Ability to analyze and solve problems.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Preferred:

Associate degree in printing technology or related field.

Optional:

High school diploma or equivalent and two years' experience. Working Demands /

Physical Requirements:

Conditions vary by day and can include up to 80% of time on the manufacturing floorOccasional short-term out-of-town travelOvertime will be needed when priority projects need completionAbility to lift up to 50 - 75 pounds at times when needed on production floor
