Thursday Job Overview:
This position requires the utmost attention to detail that each item manufactured meets company standards. This involves achieving productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety objectives through both individual and team contributions. The operator will need to be good with their hands and possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude toward their job. Responsibilities and Duties Operating in an ISO Class 7 Clean room, mixing and filling products in an aseptic environment Minor operation and monitoring of equipment such as the diluent filling machine. 100% inspection of products Prepare work area by following written SOPs for position. Set up and use scales for weighing materials and counting parts. Visually and mechanically inspect and assemble parts. Perform packaging and labeling functions to complete finished goods. Complete documentation on all records according to "Good Documentation Practices" Keep work area neat and clean and perform all necessary cleaning as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of basic math, including additional, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Must be able to read, write, and understand instructions, warnings, labels, and postings. Ability to use basic hand tools Must be able to complete accurate reports. Mechanical aptitude required. Must work closely with others in a team atmosphere. Knowledge of secondary equipment operation (Scales, tape machine, etc.).
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one-year assembly experience preferred. Willing to cross-train in various areas. Knowledge of plastics a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds independently. Ability to use their hands for product assembly. Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, pull, push, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the assigned eight-hour shift.
