Die Cast Setup Technician

Gpac just partnered with a rapidly growing Manufacturing company that is seeking a full time Die Cast Technician / Setup Specialist . Direct hire full time position. Key Responsibilities Perform die cast machine setups, changeovers, and process adjustments Troubleshoot production, tooling, and equipment issues Support operators and assist with training Work closely with supervisors and maintenance to improve uptime and efficiency Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction Assist with die maintenance coordination and troubleshooting casting defects Help maintain safe and efficient operation of die cast equipment Support ongoing improvements to equipment reliability and department organization Monitor production quality and help resolve day-to-day manufacturing issues Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on die cast manufacturing experience Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience with machine setup, process adjustments, and production support Ability to diagnose equipment and process-related issues Familiarity with die cast tooling, trimming, and secondary operations preferred Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to work independently and support a team-oriented culture
