Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Second Shift Packaging Operator at Wisconsin Brewing Company plays an important role in the packaging operations, responsible for running equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with changeovers. This position demands a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all packaging equipment. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the day. Perform quality checks on packaged products, and accurately record results. Understand the fundamentals of the packaging process. Perform basic preventative maintenance. Remain flexible and willing to help with any task around the brewery.
Knowledge and Skills:
Previous factory or packaging experience is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve. Attention to detail. Self-motivated. Ability to multitask. Strong communication skills. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary. Positive attitude and desire to learn. Capacity to lift 50lbs consistently.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent.
