Day Work Week:

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following: Operate both CO₂ and Fiber flat sheet metal cutting lasers to produce high-precision, low-volume fabrications Perform independent machine setups and make real-time adjustments to ensure a flawless, quality cut Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and blueprints to confirm exact project specifications Utilize pin gauges, calipers, and other precision measurement devices to verify part dimensions and maintain ISO standards Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload sheet metal and position materials for cutting Follow detailed instructions from area supervisors while working collaboratively in a team-oriented shop environment Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S or similar lean manufacturing principles The background of the successful candidate must include the following: 5+ years of professional experience operating industrial laser cutting machines Proven ability to perform complex machine setups and troubleshoot laser adjustments independently Strong proficiency in reading detailed technical drawings and utilizing precision measuring tools A reliable and consistent work history; attendance is critical to the success of this 2nd shift team Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active in a manufacturing setting Previous experience with Amada equipment and industrial material handling (cranes/forklifts) is highly desirable US citizenship or Green Card status with a residence within a 45-minute drive of West Bend
