Wire Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Specific Role:

The Wire Machine Operator is a key role in EMIT's manufacturing facility, responsible for operating and maintaining wire processing equipment. This position performs hands-on tasks to ensure wire production meets the needs of the assembly team while maintaining quality, organization, and safety standards.

Key Accountabilities:

Execute daily production expectations by running, reviewing, and updating wire files to support assembly team requirements. Ensure finished products meet established quality standards. Maintain clean, organized work areas free of potential hazards. Follow leadership direction to meet daily production priorities. Safely operate and monitor wire machine equipment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machine operator role preferred. Ability to read, review, and update production or machine files accurately. Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency. Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a production environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred. Commitment to following all PPE requirements and workplace safety protocols. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. repeatedly. Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift. Always use proper PPE when required.
