!!! for a Medical Device Company Bolt Medical Inc. is a start-up medical device manufacturer established in 2019. Their main products include surgical and medical instruments such as catheter systems for cardiovascular treatments.. Their current location on Avenida Encinas houses their production and manufacturing team with another location on Faraday that houses the engineering and technician team. The environment is both cleanroom and laboratory environment.

OVERVIEW
: Manufacturing and assembly of medical devices (catheters) are performed by following specific procedures and instructions, including conducting product assemblies using hand tools and blueprints while ensuring quality standards with microscopes. The role requires strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, safety guidelines, and documentation standards. Responsibilities include completing training on production tasks, understanding materials and tools, performing equipment setup, operation, and in-process inspections, and working closely with engineers and supervisors to maintain product quality and develop process documentation. Additionally, tasks involve inventory counting, operating equipment, completing required documentation, and carrying out other assigned duties based on verbal instructions.
Required Experience:
Hands-on experience in a medical device manufacturing or production environment, or prototyping experience Experience in manufacturing catheter products (preferred) Ability to use required safety equipment while performing lab work Prior experience with microscopes and medical device assembly Experience working in a cleanroom environment Ability to understand and perform in-process inspection to ensure workmanship and product quality
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a proactive, "can do" attitude and strong follow-through Thorough understanding of cleanroom requirements Ability to meet productivity standards, complete work in a timely manner, and strive for continuous improvement Ability to follow instructions and respond effectively to management direction Capability to perform delicate and repetitive tasks with precision Willingness and ability to use a microscope for up to 8 hours per day Ability to handle small, delicate parts and components with care Ability to read and understand work instructions, process guidelines, visual workmanship standards, and technical drawings
ENVIRONMENT
Full Cleanroom Environment:
NO makeup, lotions, lashes, nails/nail polish, unapproved electronics, food, drinks, gum, or personal items in the cleanroom. Cleanroom PPE Required
