Galaxy Therapeutics is a private, US-based, pre-commercial stage medical device company. We have a proprietary implant technology to treat brain aneurysms. Brain aneurysms occur in up to 6% of the population. Up to half of brain aneurysms require treatment. This is over a $1B Market Opportunity. We are addressing this opportunity with the Saccular Endovascular Aneurysm Lattice treatment system: Seal™ Galaxy is currently at a pre-commercial stage. We have successfully demonstrated proof of concept, and clinical safety with our Pre-SEAL IT trial which enrolled 33 patients at multiple sites. Safety, efficacy and durability has been demonstrated in all patients. We have completed enrollment in our Pre-Market approval SEAL-IT trial in US and internationally. Galaxy holds multiple patents in US, EU, China and other markets. Founded by four practicing neuro interventional physicians. Our core team is based in Milpitas, CA.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler who performs a variety of medical device prototype, production assemblies and sub-assembly manufacturing. Works from diagrams, drawings, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Manufacturing Process Instructions in accordance with GMP and ISO regulations. Performs in-process quality inspections on work in process and completed. Brings abnormalities to the attention of supervisors in a timely manner. This job is a contract-to-hire, 90 days as 1099.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble components into medical devices following approved manufacturing procedures. Perform component cleaning to ensure all quality standards are met. Set up and operate equipment according to established procedures. Conduct in‑process quality checks on sub‑assemblies to ensure accuracy and compliance. Use a range of tools including small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve line issues promptly. Recommend and support process improvements based on hands‑on experience. Maintain cleanroom integrity through proper gowning and strict adherence to cleanroom protocols. Document accurate records related to quality, work progress, test results, and special projects. Follow general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, and all applicable FDA and ISO regulations. Be willing to work overtime when required to meet production demands. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall company success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Pay:

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
