Responsibilities Perform detailed post-processing tasks including cleaning, polishing, and assembling medical device components using hand tools and precision measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Conduct inspections to verify dimensions and tolerances in accordance with specifications, utilizing measurement tools and following strict quality control procedures. Ensure compliance with
ISO 13485
standards, FDA regulations, and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines throughout all processing activities. Operate manufacturing equipment related to plastics injection molding, soldering, and assembly processes within a cleanroom environment. Package finished products securely for shipment while maintaining sterile conditions and adhering to packaging protocols. Utilize hand tools effectively for tasks such as soldering, assembly, or component modification. Maintain detailed documentation of processing steps, inspections, and quality checks in compliance with regulatory standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies or quality issues and suggesting corrective actions. Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment involving medical devices or similar regulated industries. Hands-on knowledge of measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Familiarity with
ISO 13485
standards, FDA regulations governing medical devices, and CGMP practices. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of plastics injection molding processes and assembly techniques. Experience working in cleanroom settings with strict contamination control protocols. Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly, soldering, or component modification tasks. Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows related to packaging, inspection, and post-processing operations.
