Job Title:
Medical Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated individual to operate machinery and perform visual inspections in a medical assembly environment. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and work independently, ensuring the accuracy and quality of medical device components. Candidates will also be responsible for sorting and packaging up to 2,500 pieces per shift, using tools such as microscopes, gauges, calipers, and tweezers. Responsibilities Operate machinery and perform troubleshooting tasks independently. Conduct visual inspections using microscopes, gauges, calipers, and other measurement tools. Sort and package medical device components, ensuring accuracy in counting and packaging. Use tweezers for handling small components and package them individually. Document work accurately as part of a medical facility's requirements. Essential Skills 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing setting. Attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks. Strong work history and positive attitude. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Reading comprehension and documentation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6+ months of experience in assembly preferred but not required. Willingness to assist in assembly tasks as needed. Work Environment Work in an extremely clean and controlled medical environment, where precision and focus are key. The role involves repetitive tasks and requires comfort with handling small components. Initial training will be in assembly and packaging, with cross-training opportunities available upon hire. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
