Job Title:
Operator I Job Description Join our team as an Operator I at the Tech Center in St. Paul, MN, where you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality medical devices and equipment. This full-time position operates on daytime hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. You will be working in an ESD manufacturing environment, focusing on packaging completed units according to manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on capital equipment such as computers and generators. Follow specified and standardized procedures for routine assignments. Ensure job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date. Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly to all levels of manufacturing management. Maintain a positive attitude with internal and external customers. Follow safety guidelines and utilize safety devices during operations. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives. Maintain accurate records for quality assurance and traceability. Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing. Support divisional initiatives and regulatory requirements. Read, comprehend, and follow written procedures. Understand and follow verbal instructions. Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages. Prioritize work by sequencing and timing of jobs based on importance. Handle and maneuver small components and parts. Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision. Essential Skills Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Great hand dexterity. Understand measurements with rulers and calipers. Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly. Great organizational skills. Ability to work overtime. Work Environment Work is performed in an ESD manufacturing environment, not a clean room. Dress code requires non-shedding, tightly woven fabric clothing that is clean and free of visible contamination. Loose-fitting clothing and certain shoe types are not allowed in the production area. Safety and professionalism are prioritized in our work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Canada, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
