Medical Device Assembler

Job Summary:

Assemble medical products from extruded or molded components. Assemble finished product using sub-assemblies and parts, and pack in designated carton according to customer specifications sheet and company policies.

Essential Functions:

Place discrete components together per customer specifications. Fuse or bond products to meet finished product specifications. Cut or trim tubing to prescribed lengths. Bulk package product per customer requirements. Report problems or issues to supervisor for assistance. Work only on processes that you are being or have been trained to perform. Maintain clean and safe working environment per company policies. Use manufacturing documentation including prints, Manufacturing Processes and the Travelers to perform duties Use measuring tools and microscope to perform duties. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift minimum of 20 pounds routinely and 40 pounds occasionally. Must be able to perform repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation and rotation. Must be able to use microscope and/or magnifying lens occasionally. Must be able to climb steps.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Medical device manufacturing experience desirable. Basic math and reading proficiency. Able to follow written procedures and instructions. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
